Weren't you aware of the Mira/Monty Python connection? See, waaaaayyyyy back in her early days of acting, Mira was an original member of the Monty Python comedy troup. She perfected the infamous "Dippety-Do" sketch. In fact, they were thinking of changing the name of the group to "Mira Python," but her modesty wouldn't allow it.

Tragically, a schism grew between Mira and John Cleese, when her popularity began to outshine his. After a terrible blow-up, Mira left the group never to return. John, in a fit of pique, had every skit, sketch, and reference to Mira excised from the Monty Python film, tape, and video archives. That is why you never see her anymore. In fact, if you ask John Cleese or Mira about it, they'll just pretend they don't know what you're talking about.

Sad, really.
