Thank you to all who reminded me that Mira's birthday is SEPTEMBER 7th. This makes our girl a Virgo, which is the opposite sign of Gemini (my sun sign, but I won't hold that against her! ). For those of you who are astrologically challenged, here is a Virgo Breakdown.

Virgo:

Myth: Virgo (or Astraes) was the goddess of justice. Positive Virgoan traits: Discriminating, analytical, meticulous, modest, tidy. Negative Virgoan traits: Fussy, a worrier, hypercritical, overly conventional, finicky. Character: Virgo is a hard worker, very practical, and detail-oriented. Virgo is eager to help others, thrives on constant activity, and has a lot of nervous energy to burn. Virgoans sometimes have difficulty relaxing--their idea of fun would be hard work for others.
The driving motive for Virgo is "to serve." Virgoans are naturally precise and well-ordered. They can sometimes appear standoffish, but if they live up to their natural talents, this can be transformed into a sort of quiet dignity that is very attractive.
Mind: Virgoans have an uncanny ability to assimilate and analyze facts. Like their opposites, Gemini (both are ruled by the planet Mercury), Virgoans are thinkers, analyzers, and problem-solvers. They are, however, less flighty than the Twins!
Emotions: Virgoans can sometimes have difficulty expressing themselves in love. Intellectual and private, they may come across as distant or cold. Despite this emotional shell, Virgos are very deep emotionally, and take a long time to trust and open up. But once they do, they are loyal and giving.
Atmosphere: Nine times out of ten, a Virgo's home is spotless. Virgoans like order, precision, and neatness. Virgo tends to be orderly and systematic in the acquisition of knowledge, the maintenence of home and finance, and in business affairs.
