Mira's wonderful. And my instincts were correct, she has amazing
presence on stage. I am *so* glad I got to see this.
"Lara" is *so* unlike the Mira I see. There are moments in the play
when I just wanted to smack the bitch, hard. I don't like "Lara",
I can understand why she is the way she is, but I don't really like
her - and that tells me just *how* good of an actress Mira is. I am
again, awestruck.
It's an interesting piece, very layered, very complicated, with an
ending I didn't at all expect.
I liked Josh Mostel a lot, and the other couple were very good. I'm
not real sure about the two kids, yet, but it was only the first preview
and my attentions was very much focussed elsewhere.
Saw Mira for a brief moment after the show, she had friends there,
and I didn't want to intrude on that. But she looks utterly fabulous,
and wanted to know what I thought.
I'm really looking forward to seeing it again.
