I'm reposting this from umst-b5 'cause I thought it was a rather
inspired idea on my part.

I don't *know* Mira. I have had the pleasure of meeting on 4 separate
occasions and she has remembered me each time and appears to like
me. And I'm a huge fan of hers, so hopefully I will be lucky enough
to have more contact with her.
But I do know Hollywood and I do know fandom and IMO Mira is going
to get flooded with baby booties and teddy bears and tons of other
useless stuff.
You might want to think about making a donation on behalf of Mira
and the baby to one of the two charites I know that she endorses:
War Child - http://www.warchild.org/home.html which I think under
the circumstances is especially appropriate.
Or B.a.b.e. (Be active, Be emancipated) - of which I am also a member
and keep the website - URL in my sig.
