For those of you who may not know this, Mira Furlan is incredible. Not just good, but incredible. I was just lucky enough to see of "The Beauty of Vice," and my jaw is still scraping the floor. The few of her Croatian films I have seen have cast her as "the other woman," "the trollip," and other such roles. But Jaglika, the country woman lured by the glamour of city life, is the most fully-defined, breathtakingly intriguing character I have seen Mira play (and that includes Delenn ) This film exudes sensuality--not just sexual, but aesthetic and spiritual sensuality as well. The need every human being has to be a touched, accepted, and valued......

Mama Mia. Good film. Very very good film. If you get a chance--art cinema, cable, PBS, whatever--make a point to see this film.
