I am, as you might have guessed, a self-confessed Mira junkie. I think she's an amazingly talented actress, she certainly gets to me on an emotional level that very few performers manage to achieve, and I'm not just talking about "Delenn" here. I've now had the good fortune to see enough of her work to know that she can accomplish that with any role she might play. I also have tremendous respect for her, in my opinion she's a lady of great personal integrity and courage. Also, I've discovered that I very much like her as a person, now that I've had the opportunity and the good fortune to be able spend as much time with her as I have. She's warm, caring, forgiving and very fair.

Sometime in early 1997 I decided that I wanted to meet her - just once. How was I to know that she was as warm and charming and insightful as she is in person? How was I to know that she'd totally blow me away by remembering me the second time we met? How could I have known that her beautiful smile is addictive? I couldn't have. So, now that I've had the privilege and the pleasure of meeting her on many occasions, I'm looking forward to the next encounter.

I've finally got my wish to see her live on stage in 1999, and like all good things it was well worth the wait. She has, as I'd suspected, a presence on stage that is nothing short of magic. I ended up seeing "Cranes" 14 times, it wasn't enough.
